Poison Hearts A.C. are an east coast-style punk rock‘n’roll band based in San Diego, CA
Drawing their influence from the raw, rebellious energy of late 70’s punk rock bands like Ramones, the infectious choruses of the Phil Spector catalog, and adding horn arrangements inspired by their love of 1940s big bands, they have created a truly unique sound that has been described as, "Rancid meets The B-52's" or "The Clash starring in Rocky Horror Picture Show." They introduced their hybrid sound to a sold out audience just months before the pandemic forced them into a two year public hiatus. During the mandatory isolation, they recorded eight singles that would become their self-released debut CD, “The First 8 Demos.” Poison Hearts AC have shared the stage with celebrated acts such as, The Last Gang, Venomous Pinks, Throw Rag, Lords of Altamont, Change Today (ex-TSOL), Manic Hispanic, Left Alone, The Calamatix, and Buck O Nine. In 2023, the band toured the Southwest US alongside 12 Step Rebels. In March 2024, they released of their lone-awaited studio e.p., "PHAC on 45" and are currently planning their first Continental US tour. |
